This course
provides participants with the knowledge and skills to carry out emergency first
aid for life threatening injuries and illnesses involving infants and young
children. It is designed for childcare workers as well as parents, grandparents
and other caregivers.
There are no prerequisites for this course.
Current industry standard is for this course to be updated every 3 years with
the CPR component being updated every 12 months.
